Have you ever just had a day(or more) where you did not get enough sleep?

There are as many reasons that people don’t sleep as there are people in the world.   I understand this subject well do to the fact that for years I did not sleep.  Yes, years! No sleep or very little.  I was a walking zombie! No wonder it all seems like a blur to me now. LOL

This is what happened to me:

 I literately lived on 2 – 4 hours of sleep most nights.

For five years straight I could simply not sleep.  I would go to bed OK but only after having something that would help me sleep.  Then around 2 in the morning I would wake up and I would be wide awake till around 5.  I would then get tired  and I would either go back to bed and get nothing done or walk around in a daze until early afternoon.

The more my sleep pattern happened the worse it became. It got to the point where I felt I should just work at night and sleep in the day time. But fortunately I have kids one specifically who is young and at home all the time. So that was not an option for me. I would get out of bed drink coffee so I could shake the what I call I am living under water feeling. Finally around 2 in the afternoon I would be completely awake. The amount of hours it took me to wake up, was like loosing half my life. The routine was not something I wanted to live.

I have tried literately everything I could find to make me sleep.

Going to doctors, wine before bed, any thing and everything that the “experts” would be in favor of I would do!  Nothing would work.If you sleep well, about right now you might be saying, OK and? Where are you going with this?
The reason I am telling you  my story.

YOU could be in the place I was not so long ago,

NOT sleeping and tired of it!

The lack of sleep is ruining their lives and relationships just like it did mine.  I don’t want them to have to wait like I did to get great sleep!

On the good news.

I found something, that had a serious affect on my sleep.  I have never gone back to no sleep and never will go back to not sleeping again. I am not scientist and don’t know all the why it works.  But I know it works.   Its actually something we were born with in our bodies but over time it vanishes.   It has a serious effect on how my body works.  Here are few other people it has worked for as well

But last night I did not sleep…..

Yes,  last night I had one hour of sleep which would have made me crash and burn before.
It would have ruined the whole next day.

My day would have been one filled with vegging out drinking coffee and not getting anything else done.

Last night my son’s truck broke down and I spent the  whole night on that. He was at his girl friends and she lives , well a long way away! Ugg….

But today,I feel pretty good. Here are some things I accomplished today, I wrote this , I home schooled my daughter, Made some phone calls, worked on my business, and even did laundry!
I am just glad I can sleep and on the rare occasion I don’t sleep  it does not ruin half of my life.
I am up and awake long before 2 in the afternoon now. ( Which is when I would be fully awake before)  I don’t need caffeine to make it though my day, my energy is always there, the caffeine crashes are gone and ….

Life is so much more pleasant when you can sleep!
